Making a shaduf

 Materals                                                                                                             Equipment

3 small bits of bamboo                                                                                   Scissors               

1 big bit of bamboo                                                                                         Small pot

1 long bit of string                                                                                            whiteboard

   Blue tack                                                                                                           sellotape                                                         

Method

·         Roll the blue tack on the whiteboard so it looks like a biscuit.

·         Stick 3 bamboo sticks into the blue tack to make a wigwam.

·         Tie the string around the wigwam.

·         Place the long bamboo stick onto the wigwam

·         Put a bit of blue tack in the middle to make it stick to the big bamboo stick.

·         Squash a bit of blue tack at the end of the bamboo stick.

·         Cut a bit of string and tie it to the bamboo stick.

·         Stick a bit of sellotape at the top of the string.

·         Get the tub and put the from the top to the bottom and sellotape it to the tub.

     TIP Now test it out on real water.

Making an omelette

Ingredients                                                                  equipment

2 slices of bacon                                                                       pack of bacon

2 eggs                                                                                         frying pan

Splash of milk                                                                           bowl

Mushrooms                                                                              whisk

Method

·         Get 2 slices of bacon

·         Cut of fat and cut bacon into small pieces

·         Put bacon in frying pan

·         Slice your mushrooms and put in frying pan

·         Get 2 eggs and crack in bowl

·         Add splash of milk

·         Give it a whisk and add into frying pan

·         It will be ready in 2 minutes

And do the fun part flip it and enjoy.

Norman the Monster

Norman is a very lazy monster.  He loves to sleep.  His eyes are very black.  He does not like to be seen so he sleeps during the day and goes out during the night.  Norman is purple and has six fingers on each hand.  The monster has very flexible arms and legs.  Norman has got his own power that makes him fly.  He can freeze things and make things very hot.  His nose is very long because when he eats his nose grows longer and longer.  Norman likes to eat jelly that a friend makes and that’s what makes him purple  The blackcurrant jelly is very yummy.  He meets his friend at the biggest tree in Norman land.  He lives in a big tower with his friends Jelly, Ashley, Talley and Norvill.
