Norman the Monster

Norman is a very lazy monster.  He loves to sleep.  His eyes are very black.  He does not like to be seen so he sleeps during the day and goes out during the night.  Norman is purple and has six fingers on each hand.  The monster has very flexible arms and legs.  Norman has got his own power that makes him fly.  He can freeze things and make things very hot.  His nose is very long because when he eats his nose grows longer and longer.  Norman likes to eat jelly that a friend makes and that’s what makes him purple  The blackcurrant jelly is very yummy.  He meets his friend at the biggest tree in Norman land.  He lives in a big tower with his friends Jelly, Ashley, Talley and Norvill.

The night before Halloween.

It was the night before Halloween and the Brown family were fast asleep. Only two people were awake and that was Angus and Martin the twin brothers. Suddenly there was a thud, “Did you hear that?’’ asked Martin. “Yes let’s go and see mum and dad.”  They went into the bedroom and mum and dad were gone.  Just at that moment there was another thud, “It’s coming from the basement,” said Angus.  They went down to the basement and there was a cauldron.  It was sizzling and it was filled with gloop.  Angus leaned closer and closer and then his brother fell in.

“Where are we?” said Martin.  “I don’t know,” replied Angus.  “We should ask that lady,” said Martin.  “Excuse me where is this?” said Angus.  The lady turned around and they both saw she was a witch.  “ Run!” shouted Angus. They were screaming and running for ages with the feeling of spiders on their feet.  The witch was just a bit behind when they ran into a big hut.  The witch locked them in. Angus was shaking. “You look petrified,” said Martin. “So do you,” said Angus. “Hey are you just going to sit there?” said a voice. “Aagh!” shouted Angus. “A talking rabbit,” said Martin.  “I’m called Nick here is the way out,” Nick pulled two floorboards out. “Down here and we will be back in the village,” said Nick. They all crawled down and they were back in the village.

“Hey you escaped!” shouted the witch. She was about to cast a spell.  “Oh no this is the end!” cried Angus.  Suddenly Nick muttered some words and shot them at the witch.  The witched stopped.  “She’s turned good,” said Martin.  “Thanks Nick,” thanked the twins. “By the way my name is Sally,” said the witch.  Suddenly some wind came and was blowing the twins up to the real world. As they went lots of Halloween monsters were singing, “Trick or treat, treat or trick, we’re gonna have sweets with Sally and Nick. Treat or trick, trick or treat, lots of yummy things to eat!”  When they got back they both said, “I’ll never forget this night before Halloween!”

The Haunted House

My story takes place in an old haunted house.  In the haunted house lived a disgusting, revolting, rotten, greedy, green monster and four vicious, wrinkly ghosts.  There’s a legend that the haunted house was a tour place when people used to come.  They say they could hear four terrifying sneaky ghosts.  Five children were trick or treating.  Their names were Jack, Dylan, Ethan, Kyle and Logan.  They went to the haunted house for some sweets.  They all chapped on the door.  Nobody answered.  Suddenly the door opened but nobody was there.  Ethan shouted trick or treat into the haunted house.  Logan heard evil laughter in a secret room.  They couldn’t get into the secret room because there was a man-eating plant.  The plant could smell the sweets.  Jack threw a sweet for it.  They tricked it.  Ethan was petrified.  There were three witches drinking potion.  Outside the haunted house was surrounded by tombstones.  Four ghosts were in the living room.  They could not see the ghosts.  Just then a green, slimy, greedy monster was coming down the staircase of 100 steps.  They had nowhere to go.  They waited until the monster got close to them, then ran to the front door.  It slammed shut.  The five boys were stuck in there forever.

Wenda the Monster

Wenda is a friendly monster.  She is tall and round.  She has four octopus arms.  Her face has a pink eye with two eyebrows like yours and mine.  Her village is called ‘W’ world.  Her husband’s name is wants-a-lot and her two children’s names are Wonky and Wondy.  She has jelly legs and a pink dress with a purple bow.  Her body is purple and her neck is all covered in patterns.  Her best friend is called Coral.  Wenda loves living in ‘W’ world.  The mall is Wenda’s favourite place.  Her dog’s name is Waddle.  ‘W’ world is the best place on earth!

Zomber the Monster

My monster is a big monster.  Zomber lives in a fancy wardrobe.  His body has lots of slime on it with wrinkly skin.  All my friends hate him because he has blood coming out of his mouth.  He has lots of scars on his face.  Zomber has a human hand and a monster hand.  My monster’s arms are as long as a train, with smally, horrible, flexible and smooth legs.  His friends are called Jelly, Andrew and hairy Amber.  My monster loves to eat cake.

The big performance

My heart was racing as the crowd clapped.  I walked slowly to the microphone.  After I sang my song the judges said it was excellent.  At the results the judge said I had won the X-Factor!  I got £100000 and a trophy.  I was crying with happiness!  I could not believe it!

I felt nervous.  Dermot shouted me.  I nervously walked onto the stage, close to the microphone.  I was so nervous I didn’t sing for 20 minutes.  Finally I sang.  After my song had finished Kelly said, “Wow baby, you put it down!”  Then Dermot said, “You have won the X-Factor!”

My heart was pounding and my hands were shaking.  I nervously walked onto the X-Factor stage.  Then I sung the first note.  All the judges put a cheesy grin on their faces.  Then Gary stopped the music and said, “That was … AMAZING!” and all the other judges shouted “You’ve won!”

My heart was bumping like a bumper car and I was shaking like a jelly.  I slowly walked towards the stage.  When I got on to the stage Kelly said, “Take the stage down.”  I sang ‘To Marry You’.  When I started to sing the people went silent.  I got told that I won.

The Wicked Mystery

One spooky night it was Halloween and every kid was going trick or treating except one kid … Thomas Grey!  Thomas was a mean kid.  Every day he would just sit on the computer.  These three kids called Amy, Jay and Emma used to be friends with Thomas but Thomas started getting bullied, so he started being mean.  Amy, Jay and Emma were almost ready to go trick or treating.  Amy was a pirate, Emma was a witch and Jay was a skeleton.  Then they set off.  First they went to Moldem Street then they just got to Tweemem Street.

At last they got to the last house, Thomas Grey’s house!

“I don’t want to go in there,” Amy said.

“Why, are you scared?” said Jay.

“No!” shouted Amy.

“It’s alright to be scared,” said Emma.

“I’m not.”

“How about me and Jay go in.”  That’s when Jay and Emma went up a green hill to go and ring the bell.  Suddenly Amy fell down a hole.  It lead to a cauldron.  Help!

Then came down Jay and Emma, “Ahh!”  Suddenly the sound of footsteps came, then cackling.  Ribet!  Ribet!  It was a slimy green frog and a wrinkly witch.

“Hee!  Hee!  Hee!  You’re all trapped!”

“Where’s Thomas Grey?”

“Who’s Thomas?”

“Never mind.  I feel terrified,” whispered Amy.

“Don’t panic,” said Jay.  Then they quickly ran through the long corridors when the witch looked away.  They passed loads of rooms.  One said potions room and loads more.  They all finally got out.  From that day on, Jay, Amy and Emma never went to Thomas Grey’s house ever again.

Spooky Night

One dark spooky night in a house triplets called Kenny, Kim and Kyle were getting ready for Halloween.  Kenny was spiderman, Kim was a dead bride and Kyle was Batman.

The mum said you can go yourself as long as you do not be silly like last time. 

“Ok Mum,” said the triplets.

By the time Kenny, Kim and Kyle stepped out the door they didn’t feel right because usually their street would be very busy at this time.  They could hear screaming and the howling of a wolf.  Kim said that she was starting to panic so she suggested that they go home and not go trick or treating and got sweets at home but they said no! no! let’s go to the Dark Castle first.  I heard they give you bagfuls of sweets but at that moment they heard a noise – meaoow. It was the witch’s black cat called Fang.  Kim had heard of this cat before.  People think it’s a bad cat but he is nice.  Kim can understand cats and she heard the cat say I am trying to protect you because the witch said she is going to kill you.  Oh no!  I must tell my brothers right now.

Follow me.  We will go and hide but then Kim saw it get dark and more spooky.  The witch sent two ghosts called Harry and Bert to kill the triplets.  But as soon as they saw the triplets they became nice and the witch died and Fang became their cat.
